PACKAGING

Q: WHERE ARE YOU BASED OUT OF?
A: Our headquarters are located in Irvine, California.

Q: WHAT IS YOUR MINIMUM ORDER FOR PACKAGING?
A: Our packaging order quantity ranges from 5,000-10,000 pieces per SKU depending on the component and decoration.

Q: WHERE IS YOUR PACKAGING MADE?
A: We work with facilities on a global scale based on your requests. We primarily produce packaging in Italy, Korea, China, and in the USA. 

Q: DO YOU HAVE COMPONENTS IN STOCK?
A: All of our packaging is made to order and will be subject to an 8-12 week production lead time (estimated), not including development lead time (ex. color matching and printed samples), or transit from point of manufacturer to final destination.
 

TURNKEY

Q: WHAT IS TURNKEY?

A: SeaCliff Beauty simplifies the development of skincare and cosmetics by providing custom formulations, custom packaging, labels, and unit cartons. We are the complete package.

Q: WHAT IS YOUR MINIMUM ORDER FOR FORMULAS?
A: The minimum order quantities are 25,000 units per custom formula/shade.

Q: DO YOU STOCK FORMULAS?

A: We carry a variety of stock formulas that have passed stability testing. These formulations are ready to manufacture with options to modify and meet your brand’s needs. A great solution for brands looking to get high quality products on the market, fast!

Q: ARE THERE ANY R&D FEES INVOLVED?
A: Yes. Custom formulation fees start at $4,000 per formula. This is the fee that gets us started to review custom formulas for approval. We can submit up to 3 rounds within this charge. Each additional shade is $1,000 per color.

Q: WHAT ARE YOUR LABORATORY AND FORMULATION CAPABILITIES?
A: We specialize in cosmetic and skincare, but our industry knowledge and experience allows us to expand upon our existing offerings. Please contact us with any specific requests you may have.

Q: WHERE ARE YOUR FORMULAS MADE?
A: We work with facilities on a global scale based on your requests. We primarily produce formulations in Italy, Korea, and in the USA. 

Q: WHAT ARE YOUR FORMULATION LEAD TIMES?
A: After benchmark samples are received, please allow 3-4 weeks to receive samples. This timing may vary depending on the ingredients the lab has on hand. 

PRICING

Q: HOW DO I GET PRICING INFORMATION?

A: Since we do not stock and each project is made to order, we do not have a set pricing on any one component or formula. We will need specifics from you in order to process an accurate quote.

Q: WHAT ARE YOUR PAYMENT TERMS?
A: Our payment terms for all new clients are 50% deposit after receipt of order and balance due at time of shipment.

Q: HOW DO I GET STARTED?
A: In order to properly assist with your project, ALL of the following information below is required. Please contact us to get started: 

  • Company Name
  • Corporate Headquarters Location (City and State)
  • List of products you are looking to package (ex: eye cream)
  • Target capacity for each product (ex: 15ml)
  • Target dispensing solution (if applicable) for each (ex: airless pump or double wall jar)
  • Target package profile, rendering, or inspiration package with specific details (ex: cylinder shape like Perricone MD De-Puffing Eye Gel)
  • Launch quantity
  • Target cost/budget
  • Target in-house date
